-Perceba e anote (no seu caderno) as diferenças entre a tradução do texto e a versão brasileira dele (que, sem dúvida, você sabe de cor, não?!);

Everybody loves NERDS

When (quando) I, Michelle, was at school, some students used to (costumavam)  make fun of (zoar) my glasses (óculos).

When a person wore (usava) glasses, he/she were called nerds, "quatro olhos" and things like that.

To be called a NERD was a bad thing.

But...
Nowadays (hoje em dia), "NERD is the new black". We are proud (orgulhosos) when we are called Nerds. It means (significa) intelligent, smart (esperto).

Isn't it funny (engraçado)??

Do glasses have the power to alter people's perception of you? 

*Truck driver = motorista de caminhão

*Hells angel = gangue de motoqueiros americana

            -> Hell = inferno

            -> Angel = anjo

*Butcher = açougueiro

*Easy = fácil
